Joe began his career August 28th 1996. While being in school half the day, Joe spent the other half of his day dispatching calls and pumping gas at a full service fueling station. It was a small group of 7 employees and 4 tow trucks. Canton Auto repair & Towing possessed service contracts with the Canton Police Department, State Highway Patrol, Sheriff Department, AAA, Cross Country, and a few other contracts. In 2003 Joe was promoted to the leadership role, by 2007 Canton Auto Repair & Towing was operating 10 trucks with 13 employees. Joe was blessed with the opportunity of purchasing Canton Auto Repair & Towing on September 29th 2009, and Canton Towing was born. Joe chose to invest his life savings in not only upgrading the equipment but also to improve overall infrastructure through continuing furthering his education. Not being the one to rest on his laurels, Joe has also sought to further his education by attaining community college certificates of Consumer Skills, Psychology, American Government/Economics, American History, World History, Biology, Graphs, Measurements and Statistics. Furthering his skills more directly related to his profession he also maintains his hazmat technician certification, as well as passing every level of the towing industries renowned Wreckmaster education courses. Joe is one of the first 30 individuals to complete and become a level 8/9R operator in the Country. In 2021 Joe was named the Wreckmaster of the year. Joe also possesses two student of the class awards from 2006 and 2009, as well as being named Wreckmasters top 10 operators of 2009. In 2010 Joe received a much more personal award from the City of Canton, the Councilmanic award. This prestigious award is presented to a resident of the community who has done something noble for the community.
In 2011 Joe founded a company called Team Towing in Akron, Ohio. Joe further expanded his accomplishments by purchasing County Towing in Akron, Ohio and merging the two companies together, County towing and Team towing, creating an operation that consisted of 17 employees and 18 trucks. Joe decided to sell Team towing in December of 2015. The sale afforded him the opportunity to invest more into his transport division that he founded in the summer of 2012. Fast forwarding to the spring of 2019, Joe purchased Things To Move out of Seville, Ohio adding 5 more heavy haul trucks, 2 escort vehicles and 9 trailers to the fleet. Today, Joe proudly employs over 60 men and women that are responsible for operating over 85 pieces of equipment. All these men and women possess the same drive as him, to not merely accept or to get by, but truly conquer every task with the passion of providing quality service.
